Hi! I just bought the Knifty Knitter last night at Michaels after seeing a bunch of DH's relatives doing projects on them at our Christmas party! lol I wasn't able to get the long loom or the idea book as they were both sold out but I plan on calling around today to see if I can track them down. I started making a hat last night but it looks too thin since I am only using one strand of 4 pl worsted weight (instead of 2 strands or using thicker yarn).

Anyways, I found this message board doing a google search and have enjoyed reading your responses and the links as well!

Has anyone made the snowman on the Provo Craft site? That is too cute! I was thinking of MAYBE giving that a shot----good gift idea  Grin

I've made over 30 hats for charity since I got my set in September. I think it's a good stress relief.

I have the complete set. However, I don't understand the instructions. I followed every link that is within this forum but the stiches always look horrible.
It looks faster than doing any project like crotchet....
But my scarf wont warm me like it is now......
Help  Huh

What a good idea...i have a ton of yarn at home that I thought I would use when I learned how to knit normally (with two needles), but since then I have gotten tendonitis is my hand and can't knit for a while anyways till its better. I think I'll pull out my knifty knitter and make some hats for charity...I have a church across the street from where I live that has a "out of the cold" program in the winter on Sunday nights, where homeless people can sleep. I bet they could benefit from my hats...maybe I could make some scarves too.

Whoo-hoo...I can finally use up all the yarn I have...I got a little too excited when I finally learned to knit and had great expectations of knitting anything and everything...needle ss to say I haven't made it past a hat and scarf...

Oh well, I still love my knifty knitter...

Some of y'all  have mentioned that it goes fast, but I am really slow on these things.  Is there something I'm missing?
