I just finished tonight- sorry about the dark pic, but I couldn't wait to post!.



You can't really tell, but the legs are now "chrome", not brown. And the glue isn't completely dry yet, which you  can see in the bottom pic. I'm pretty tickled!
Looks great.  My question is how would that hold up to a little water?  My thinking is that if you used that idea on a kitchen table, food or water is likely to get spilled on the table a bit every now and then.

Just a thought. I saw a desktop size page- a day calendar at Barnes & Nobles that had a pin-up a day on it. A great source for pictures that arent web based. I'm hopping out after Christmas to see if I can pick a few up on sale.

I was worried about this as well. My roomate left a leaky coffee cup on it over night, and it wiped off the next day. Still, even though it's triple spray-lacquered, I'm probably not going to use this as my general eating table. Another solution might be to use clear contact paper on top.
