I'm trying to learn how to crochet with beads. And in the couple days i've been here, i've realized how much you all people know, so...
does any of you knowledgeable craftsters have any tips, or links to sites or patterns, or personal experiences to learn from.
I'd also ask for book tips, but seeing as I live in Spain, getting them would be expensive, and not really fit into my student-budget  Undecided

I've had a few tries, but nothing serious (no real finished works, just some playing around), and well, I could use some help.

I love working with beads. one of the easier ways is to string all your beads on before you start, and push them along the yarn until you get to a place where you want it and hold it against the previous stitch. The way I usually do it though is I stretch the loop on the hook and put the bead over the loop, then i put my hook back in the loop on the other side of the bead.

I've tried it, once, but alas, I'm not a crocheter, so I struggled greatly.  Like, lilmisspink stated, string your beads (I used size 6 seed beads) onto pearl cotton (embroidery floss) and used the worlds tiniest hook.  I made a tube, either 5 or 6 beads around.  Post pics if you end up making something!
