that is awesome! i'd think it's just a whole bunch of drawstrings attached. i'll keep checking back here, now i want to make one!

One of my clothing designs is similar to that,although the skirt is tiered and it uses webbing straps rather than drawstrings so that you'd be able to shorten the front and leave the back long (or any other variation).
That particular skirt looks like a six gore(panel) skirt with the channels for the drawstrings running down the seams between each panel.Should be very easy to find a sewing pattern for the basic skirt and then adapt it

I can post a scan of the original design but I have no photos of the actual skirt,I'm afraid,because I went off the idea and haven't made it yet
