I bought a bunch of needles at a garage sale.  Have two needles that look like the letter J.  What are this used for?  Please help!   Jodi

they're probably cable needles.  i can't seem to find any good links to pictures and descriptions.  but they're a type of cable needle.

An eye for and eye leaves the whole world blind.

Here's a pic on a store website:  http://www.herrschners.com/products/sku-010777-0001__id-300.html
Is this what you have?

I know that it's a cable needle.  My grandma used to use one, but I'm not sure how she used it.

if you can't be a good example then you'll just have to be a horrible warning.
