Well, I don't know if I will send it in or not, because i doubt they need hats.
If you have seen my other posts, you have seen this fabric. I am trying to use it up there's SOOOO much of it!! ahhHhhh! attack of the walmart fabrics! ok anyways, here it is, modelled by my small-headed care bear  Wink

FACTS:
*There is stuffing on the top part and the ear panels.
*The top is quilted.
*tags on the side
*the black bead i would not reccomend getting on to anyone unless they want to stab themselves with a needle.
*it is sized for a smaller child.

Should i send it?no?

Tell me what cha think!

they need people to wait a little while before donating clothes, because money is what they need most now....BUT - it's cute Smiley  and i'd donate it - im sure there'll be someone who'll need it. Smiley

Very nice!

But I would do what miss_cute_boots suggested. I just learned to crochet and I was thinking of doing some scarves to send up there but then I realized that it's September. It's about 100 degrees here (FL) so it's about the same in what's left of LA. I don't think they need it right now but you did a great job and it's the thought that counts!  Smiley

I think selling the item for charity is the way to go. It's really easy to donate to craft revolution and I'm sure your adorable hat will sell quickly.

thanks everyone! Smiley
I realized after they made it..that noone would need a padded hat.
I'm sorry if this sounds wrong, i'm not starting a debate, but i don't believe in giving money because we the consumer have no idea where it goes. So I'm not giving money.
But thankies!
The craft thing sounds like a good idea!

I don't think it sounds wrong at all. I want to help so bad (I'm lucky that Katrina didn't hit me) but for some reason I don't want to donate money. I wanted to make blankets & pillows for them but my friend Mary talked to the people @ Red Cross and they said that it's too expensive to ship things up there.    Sad
