Last week I saw the Rocky Horror Picture Show for the first time, it's now my fave movie ever (and I'm listening to the soundtrack right now!!) I LOVED columbia's sparkly tap shoes in Time Warp, and I HAD to have some, but in either pink or red! Everywhere I saw online that had red sparkly dorothy (wizard of oz) shoes was really expensive and in the USA (so shipping made it mega expensive) and I couldnt find any suitable shoes to transform (they had to be high heeled mary janes!) until today!!!! I got these shoes from a charity shop for 4.25

I coated them in PVA glue (not sure how well it will hold up, but we'll see) and drenched them in pink glitter

and then sprayed them with silicone based waterproofing spray and added some more glitter, they're not quite finished yet, im going to add another coat of silicone and some more glitter and then another coat of silicone.

Oooh lovely, they're perfect for Columbia!! I've seen the rocky horror at theatres twice now, Manchester and Llandudno (strange choice I know!). I'm always magenta. I'm not brave enough for Columbia - he he! Ph x

they are fantastic,  i had the same problem as you whern i first wanted some columbia shoes the first tiem i saw the rocky horror.  but managed to find some red sparkly shoes in a charity shop, they didn't last long but have been through i million differnt colour sparkel layers.   they eventually died totally a while back.  i love columbia and go as her everytime i go see the stage show, it took me till the third time before i plucked up the courage to go in her full floor show costume, the first time was more of a gesture in her direction and the second time i made some sparkly hotpants too. I'd like to fine some ace pjs and mickey mouse ears and do that look one time aswell.  my sister always goes as magenta and i'm still trying to persuade my brother to go as rocky (he's only 16 and i've been trying to get him to dress up as rocky since the last time we went two years ago - spoil sport)

mmm those are GREAT

I've never seen the show live.. but I did just make myself a pair of shoes like hers anyways..

and a pair of ruby red slippers.. which are actually covered in red rhinestones..

The earth, stained with the blood of a thousand dying soldiers, weeps as she welcomes them home.

those are HOT! Tell us how the glue holds up!!

I've made Dorothy shoes with red glitter, worn them out and then left a shiny red trail in my wake. Stupid glue.

Good job!
