Yes, you should come on Wednesday!  5 NEW LONDON AVENUE CRANSTON,  RI  02920  is the address (Panera Bread) and once you come in the door, turn right and we're against the wall.  They stay till it closes.

And yah, we just talk and work on our own things.  Some knit, some bind books, some make creatures, and I decorate lighters.  I've gone maybe 5? weeks so far?   Its fun and everyone is friendly.

There are also stitch n bitch groups on livejournal.  For example, http://www.livejournal.com/community/snbprov/ who meets on Thursdays in Providence @ Reflections and Fridays at Yarns at Lace Wings.
I've been in Providence since mid-August and haven't really found anywhere to "hang out" yet.  Hopefully, I will be able to meet up wtih y'all on Tuesday!

Yay! We usually sit near the dessert area on the right or at a booth/table in the middle of the room.

I hope you can make it!

Yeah! I will (hopefully) get there by around 7.15 or 7.30 tonight.

You came to a few of the early meetings, right? I hope you can make it tonight!

There's 2 or three stitch and bitch groups in the RISD area. Check on intranet.risd.edu and risd.dailyjolt.com on the forums they say when they meet and where, students have mentioned ones that are off campus, revolutions cafe or something like that. I don't know. I wish I actually had time to go to one, i don't know how other students have time.

Hi guys! I'm going to be moving to Prov over the summer. I just got a textile design job right outside of the city and it would be nice to meet some crafty people since I'd be new to the area...

Hello!

Drop a line when you are in Providence and I'll get you directions, etc. to Panera.
Have you found a place to live yet?
