So it looks like there's interest in an altered altoid tin challenge and a pincushion challenge, is that right?

Is anyone interested in doing a Winter Holiday Decor challenge?

You could include all kinds of items:  wreaths, ornaments, garlands, tree toppers, wallhangings, outdoor decor, stockings, door pulls, pillows, blankets, picture frames, nativity sets, gingerbread houses, dreidels, menorahs - if you use it to decorate during your winter holiday, we want to see it!

What do you all think?

I like it!

And it might even get me off my lazy bum and start making decorations!  We didn't put anything up last year and it was rather depressing; have to fix that!

I LOVE to decorate for the holidays!  I decorate at work too, but ofcourse it has to be very generic winter themed - snowflakes is what I go with!

So do I!  I come by it naturally, my mom starts decorating her house every year on Nov 1st (though, I have seen some things go up sooner than that).  She says it's because she has so many things to put up that if she doesn't start early she won't get to see them all!

I haven't ever done a lot of decorating at my own place because I've always spend several days spanning Christmas at my parents' house, but now that I'm engaged, and living in a real apartment (not that basement hole I used to...) I'm really looking forward to it!

And decorating at work... what a great idea!  I'm going to have to do some thinking about this!

Great!  I'm thinking we would start the crafting on October 1st and then have all projects due Nov. 1 - 8th and then voting Nov. 8 - 15th.

I do have several etsy shops that have volunteered prizes!

I think this has the potential for a lot of amazing projects!
