I've kept hearing about this website for awhile now and after reading some posts on here I decided to check it out for myself. I've been selling the necklaces I make on Ebay for about 7 or 8 months now. I've done pretty well. The only problems that I seem to run into is that people are often looking for a bargain on Ebay and most of the people posting the kind of stuff I make (hemp jewerly mostly) is often not of the best quality and they will sell it in bulk.

So I set out to look at Etsy.com and see for myself. And I created a store. I was really convinced to join because of everything I read on there. AND right now until November 1st, all the listings are FREE. So you might want to check that out. But mainly my reason for joining is because I put so much time into these necklaces that I make. It can take me at least 30 minutes or more depending on what kind of beads I use and what not. I was tired of having to charge less for them just to make some money off of them.

I think that this website is a GREAT idea and hopefully my store will be profitable for me. Just wanted to share this for anyone wanting or considering creating a store with either Ebay or Etsy.

I'm a crafty kid. I just can't help myself.
