i'm in love.
my mom is knitting a green panta too ^^ i think i'll start a black one, and a pink one. omg, i'm addicted to it. i guess i'll make some for my friends or my closet will be full of pantas before winter gets here (i'm in Brasil and it's autumn here ^^)

That's cute danny_cruz!

haha I'm the same way. I've made like 5 of them. lol  I keep trying to just give them away because it's already getting warm here (since I'm not only in the US but in the south as well)...oh well. Tongue It's a quick knit and everyone adores them.

Here's my Panta.

It was my first increase/decrease project, I'm probably taking the whole step-by-step learning thing a little too seriously Tongue

Hehe well this project is a good way to learn increases/decreases Smiley though it's probably entirely a good "learn to knit" project! (you know, after you stop dropping the needles every time you try to put it through a stitch)

That's really pretty beans! What yarn did you use?

It was my first increase/decrease project too. lol But it does seem to be a good project to begin with.

I made one of these, and lined the wrong side with polar fleece (machine sewed it on).  I looked pretty hot when I hit the ski slopes with this covering my ears!!

Thanks!
Lining it is a really good idea. I didn't even think of it. It's still a little too cold here to go out wearing just a Panta.
I used Twister from Cherry Tree Hill in Earth. It's the ball that lasts forever. I've made two pairs of arm warmers, and the Panta, and still have half of it left. I bought it here: http://www.yarnmarket.com/yarn/Cherry_Tree_Hill_Yarn-Twister_Yarn-1770.html

Another panta! This time made from Patons diploma gold lurex DK. Excuse the bad photo but I wanted to take a quick photo of it before it went off to its new home. I'll have to get around to trying a cabled panta one of these days, after I finish the purple one that has been on the needles for months.

I finished my one in February, and left it in my mum's car, and I was only reunited with it yesterday:

It is done in James Brett DK marble, and it's got some wobbly bits, but as my first finished knit I'm happy with it!
