I LOVE THE BUTTON IDEA!  What a great solution!  My next panta is definately gonna have buttons.

I had to jump on the bandwagon and voila!

I just used some Red Heart I had laying about because I won't let myself buy new yarn until I use up all this damn acrylic! I'm going to end up with acrylic pantas in every colour possible....

I so hear you PirateKitty re acrylic stash. I started out cheap when I was learning and was gifted mucho acrylic. Now that I'm slightly more experienced I know the joys of wool. So, panta here I come!

I am so excited to start making one of these.  I can never pull off a kerchief - the end always flops funny, but the panta looks perfect!

crnaofca They didn't take it from here, their pattern has been there for ever. It's the other way around actually....

i thought our pattern was from brazilian site:)

but hipotetically, could they do that? i mean, find a pattern here and publish it on their site?

well, it is. at least, when i made it, and posted it here.

i found the pattern on a BRAZILIAN (i am from Brasil) website, where ladies shared their patterns. I made one myself, and started this topic. some one here offered to translate it and there it was.
according to them, the pattern was finnish.

and no, i didn't get it at the garnstudio webiste.

i haven't realize this topic was so long! that's great.

Well, until some time ago, everything at garnstudio was avalible in norweigan, swedish, danish(?) and finnish, so they might still have found it there and translated it. Smiley

Lol.. crazy psycho knitting murderer sounds like such a great game..

I, too, decided to jump on the bandwagon, and I love the panta but don't think it actually looks very good on me, hence the no picture posted of me in it!
