At our KIP (knitting in public) meeting last night someone brought one and now I am 1/2 way done - it is such a relaxing item to knit!  Not much concentration needed!  I am already brainstorming my next one... I am addicted!  So many to do now for stocking stuffers...

Oh, how do you say "panta"? Is it like what a dog does "pant" + "uh" or like dupont (pont) + "uh"?  It was a controversy last night!

I LOVE everyone's Pantas! (I'd love more info on the correct pronunciation, too.)

Anyhow, I want to go get the yarn and start on this.  It looks like most of you have been using a size 5 US.  What gauge/ types of yarn are you using??  I want to get started asap, please post when you can!

Thanks!

I used needles to suit my yarn, which happened to be size 7US.  Now I want to try one with cables!  Keep posting pictures, everyone - it's great!

Lady Spankington-  Thanks for the info!  I am definitely going to try your cabled version this weekend.  Bought some cashmerino and want to try it on that!

Everyone's look fantastic.  Will have to post the ones that I have made so far.  Am definitely giving them as gifts this year.  Think I will give them along with a matching scarf.  Wish my friends were crafty.  I think getting gifts like that is just the best!
