i don't have a pattern but it looks like the standard stockinette stitch worked in the round...? very adorable!

With some decreases on the end I assume. I really like it but I have so much on my plate knitting wise that I think it'll have to wait Sad Thanks

Mine is here. http://flickr.com/photos/xamonster/45339612/ It was about 20" long in the end. I used some leftover microspun stuff, and it's actually kind of cool. If I make another one, I'll probably make it a bit shorter, because it's a little too stretchy. (Or maybe I should just use wool!)

XAMONSTER, yours looks great and inspired me to post mine so here it is!

I think the stuff was called gitano or something like that. I  liked this pattern a lot but it did come out a smidge too big for my head. Still, it's warm, I made it and I like it. It's also the first thing from craftster that I made so many thanks to the original poster as well as to those who modified and wrote the pattern out in english.  Cheesy

The original pattern calls for a yarn that calls for a size 5 needle. I think the average worsted weight yarn calls for a seven. My camera took a header at the beach so I don't have any pictures right now but I made a narrower panta out of worsted weight yarn by starting with a 2 x 2 rib instead of a 2 x 1 rib. I'll try to get pictures this weekend.

xamonster, i loved the color you used..

i made mine with some kind of "silky" yarn, and it turned out a bit too big so i just sewed the ends tighter with a sewing machine. it's working just fine.

My panta! I used Artyarns Supermerino, a worsted weight superwash. Really great yarn, but so stretchy I think I'll make my next one 18" instead of 20". I have to say, I struggled to find an increase that wouldn't show AND that was a mirrored increase, but in the end I settled for what wouldn't show.

This is such a good alternative to my usual winter hats which sort of make me look like a hobo.
