I have a question. What is a good size for a baby blanket? Thanks in andvance for your help.

A good size for a baby blanket is about 32 by 38-40 inches, I'd say.  Think 2.5 by 3 ft and little.

It kind of depends on where or how you are going to use the blanket - for swaddling it needs to be a little bigger.. for the top of a crib
Most of the baby blanket patterns I have are about 36" x 48"  if that is any help. 
Buuuuuuuuut if you are going to use it for a stroller that would be immensely too large.... it all depends on how the blanket is going to be used...

My mom makes lots of baby blankets.  She makes them ~3.5 feet square most of the time.

Thanks so much for your help! Cheesy I'm making a blue granny square baby blanket for my friend who is due in 5 months! She is having a boy by the way! Thanks again and I will post pictures once have finished it.
