OMG!!  That is the cutest shirt ever!  I can't believe that you made that from two shirts (basically).  That's so awesome!  Kudos!

*squeal* That's amazing! I love it so! Especially the piping!

If you could give us some crib notes on how you made it there would be such gratitude, such, such gratitude....
Um, roughly sketch out how you want the yoke to look like, then add a little more in the middle, cut it in half (for the buttons), and cut out 4 pieces. Lay two pieces on top of each other and sew the piping on the yoke first, then pin the piping+yoke to the shirt and edge stitch really closely. Then make buttonholes on the yoke, etc. etc. and measure around the neck to put a collar. Then I added the princess sleeves.

it's so cute, i love it Smiley Are the buttons in working order or are they just sewn on? I also really like the sleeves and how they ruffle, may i ask how you did this?
wonderful collection of clothes you have by the way..

Yup, the buttons do work. I did the ruffle at the bottom of the sleeves using elastic thread, so they can still stretch around the arms.

Super cute!  Is the white fabric just a cotton broadcloth?

It was actually a bedsheet, but cotton broadcloth would work just as well.
