Eventually I'd like this project to be a hat. So far it is made up of 5 big points(like mini witch hats) and 3 small ones, 3 flowers, and a sort of crocheted tube that comes out of a part of the hat and goes back into the hat at the other end. the whole thing is crocheted except for the design part (like the dino and hearts) I have a small knitting manual machine (you turn this handle and the tiny knitted tube comes out the other end). Well I did that in one very long piece a few meters and then applied it to the project by crocheting it to the project making loopty loops and designs including an L, a dino, some hearts, swirls and waves. I think it is a pretty cool technique

Really Amazing!  I am thoroughly impressed....I have never seen anything like it before. Grin  It is pure art!

It would be so awesome if you could make a bigger piece and turn it into a funky shawl or afgan!!!   Craft On Grrl!  ~M

Groovy! I made a crazy jester's hat once but it only had three points.

This reminds me of a great crochet book I have-A New Look at Crochet. It was published in the '70s so all the pics are retro.

Wow! You do have wings.

Must go be with my yarn and hooks for a few hours so my brain does not explode.

Jesus loves me, this I know.
