The Michael's coupon is usually in the Sunday paper advertising supplement.

Worth knowing this week, through next Saturday Oct 29, is that Hobby Lobby has a 40% off coupon as their Internet coupon on their website. http://www.hobbylobby.com/site3/weekly/coupons/coupon.cfm

I signed up to get their specials e-mailed to me each week and so find out what's on sale without even having to subscibe to the paper. Don't know if Michael's has the same type thing e-mail service, but Jo-Ann's Fabrics and Crafts sure does.

You can purchase the chain links by the yard (or whatever length you need) and attach your own clasps for the necklace.  I purchased mine at a local jewelry supply store.

Here's mine.  It looks black in the pic but is actually purple.  Thanks for the ideas.
