My boyfriend had his birthday a few weeks ago (near our 1.5 year anniversary) so I embroidered him a pillowcase. The theme is "our song," "A Kiss To Build A Dream On". If you haven't heard this song, go find it now! It's great, but I'm biased  Cheesy I photoshopped a headphone graphic I found online, used the sublime stitching banner and free-handed the cord. I thought it only fitting to add a picture of us smooching, which I also photoshopped and transfered with goof off. That is simply amazing.  Perfect embroidery!  And I don't know if the photo was supposed to look faded like that, but I think it looks fantastic like that.  What a great gift!

Wow, thanks everybody!  Cheesy I really like the heart, too. I almost did something else b/c I thought it'd be too plain, but I like it this way  Smiley

gluey: I did mean for it to be a bit less faded, but I like it as-is... except for that weird streak where the pigment bled  Tongue

Fakeiloveyous: I'd forgotten about that list, good idea.  Smiley

I especially love the cord heart!

Me too!  It really makes the whole design.

I read your manifestos and strange religious tracts.  You took me to your library and kissed me in the stacks.
