I know there are a couple of home-made winders and yarn swifts that are being featured right now.  I was wondering, though...has anyone else come up with other ideas for rigging together a yarn swift and/or winder?

Everyone on this forum is so incredibly creative!  It's amazing the ideas that are put forward.

I thought about it for about 30 minutes...then I gave up and bid on a winder on ebay.  I will probably end up paying about $30.00 for it.  Yeah, that's expensive (but not totally out of the question) but I would rather spend my evenings knitting and not untangling yarn.  I figure I'll use a chair or a friend's hands for a swift.  Sorry I'm not of more help.   Undecided
