I'm not sure where to post this ...

I've been inspired by this site to make knitting needle cases.  These cases can hold both straight and circular needles and have 16-18 pockets.  The pocket sizes range from ~.75'' to 2'' for chunky needles (my 19's fit in great).  There are 2 wider pockets for circular needles.   There are 2 rows of pockets and they are lined with a canvas or twill.  It closes with a brown grosgrain ribbon.  Comments?  Suggestions?  Ways to improve?

Those look great! How much are you planning to sell them for? I made a case for my knitting needles but discovered that drinking beer & sewing don't go well together (at least for me)!! Cheesy

Those are super-cute!
Will bigger (like 17+) needles fit?

Thanks!  My largest pair of needles are 19's - and they fit in just fine.  I just added a picture to show you how the case looks with needles inside.

those are wicked. I've always wanted to make my own case, but I don't have access to a sewing machine.  Embarrassed

How tall are they?

The cases are about 21.5'' tall when opened.

Hey SanFran, I think you are underselling yourself!  You can get more for those!  Up your prices!  I know how much that fabric costs!  Awesome cases!

I lovelovelove the fabric in the second photo. Lovely.

As for the cases themselves, I think they're great and very useful. I wouldn't change a thing.  Smiley
