Such satisfaction from whipping up a project and finishing it in one evening. Sorry for the weird angle, I wanted the buttons to show.

EDIT: april_cocaine's circle skirt tutorial rocks my socks. Or it would if I were wearing any. Check it out!

Great colors. I like the layers! It is really good, great job. Do the buttons actually work or are they there for show? Tongue Cheesy

Thanks! I was going to make them functional (out of fear it wouldn't slide over my big booty :-o), but it stretched enough that I just made the waistband one piece. It looked a little bare, though, so I put the buttons on anyway.

I know I'm not sick of circle skirts! Yours is beautiful and the buttons are a nice touch. Is it two layers or just a decorative hem?

Thankya. =) It's two layers -- I was afraid that the white would be a little too see-through all by its lonesome. It's also a little warmer with two layers, and since I live in the cold white north, that should hopefully help it last a little longer into fall!

hi! i'm new to sewing in general and i'm trying to make a circle skirt.  can you give me some pointers on how to do the hem at the bottom.  I want to make a 1/4" or 1/3" inch hem around the bottom, but the fabric keeps bunching up!
I've re-pinned it and re-cut it 3 times already!
can you (or anyone) help?
