Yep. I just went for the epoxies. By the time I got out of the mosh/crush pit [being teh 100 pound girl I am] I was in too much pain to sit through another band. I forced myself to the second row, through all these hugeee people. It hurt. Haha.

I follow the rules of a Leah more high and mighty than myself. Take it to PMs, but I'm supposed to keep this topic at least semi on the craft..

you should make a shirt that says "i liked against me! before they sold out"

or make a photo transfer of this picture of them playing the huge baseball arena in new york:
http://www.againstme.net/images/photo71b.jpg
and under it have "Our arena just basements and bookstores across an underground America"

i wouldn't put any of their old lyrics because it just proves that they're hypocrites.

"just give me a scene where the music is free"?
MY ASS.
against me! have not sold out. they've just gotten bigger. there is a GIANT difference. fat is an indie label. how are they hypocrites? that song is off of their first full length, when nobody knew them and they did just play at tiny venues and basements. if they had written it for their new cd, they would be hypocrites. and :squee: I'm going to see them in december with the epoxies, the soviettes and another band that I don't remember, and the price is only $16 canadian. for at least 3 fairly well-known bands, especially fat wreck bands, $16 is quite cheap, no?
every single person that has met them has said that they are the nicest, most hardworking guys ever, and their music is amazing. if any band deserves to get popular, they do.

let's just finish this uncrafty talk off now, after all, this is craftster, not punknews, where every post turns into a debate of the band's cred.  Roll Eyes  Tongue

freedom is given, speak how you feel
I have no freedom, how do you feel?
they can lie to my face, but not to my heart
if we stand together, it'll just be the start
