I went to Rag Shop to buy some thread, and I spotted this fabric.  I knew it was destined to be my new bag.  I was even happier to find out that it was on sale for only $3.99 a yard.

I lost a night of sleep, but it was so worth it.

FRONT with a vintage button from Grandma's stash

BACK
with a big velcro pouch

OPEN FLAP with a big pouch

INSIDE with a few patchwork pouches for the cell phone, lipstick, mirror, and a pen

INSIDE with another patchwork pouch and a zipped pouch

MESSENGER BAG ON ME Cheesy

CLOSE UP of Granny buckle

CLOSE UP of fabric and a metal circle I stole from another purse

I used a combination of Craftster Tutorials and a few tricks of my own.

I LOVE CRAFTSTER!!! Without you guys, I'd be so lost.

So cute. I've seen that fabric and loved it but wasn't sure if it'd look good- it does!

Oh wow...that bag rocks!!  I love it!  The fabric and how you contrasted it with the lining.  The pockets are awesome too...I like how you doubled them up on top of eachother.
