I made a simple garter-stitch scarf in Rowan Handknit Cotton (DK weight) for my sister's birthday (she turned 3 in September. Aaaah.)

Aaaah, here's her beading. (Actually, she's a complete monster who enjoys torturing me. See avatar.)

No hat because hats aren't great in cotton, but I'll be making her some mittens for Christmas. (Eep. Xmas knitting.)

A new hat I started for my cousin:
Even though it looks purple, it's actually blue. I made it in lion brand Kool Wool in the denim color.

P.S. When I get around to it, I'll post the finished pink scarf I showed an WIP pic of before.

Here's my knit scarf...

Ugh, I did have plans for Chrismas projects (hats. slippers... a list a mile long), but ended up hurting my wrist (sprained).  Guess I can't make stuff for a couple of weeks...  =(

I really like your scarf, keiko. Does it curl up a lot, or do those bands of knitting on both sides prevent that?

Thanks!!!  ^_^**  Those were actually an accident at first, but  I didn't have the heart to rip it out, so I just continued with it and made it a part of the pattern.
