I'm lame and my scanner doesn't work so I've even just gone to kinkos and had it photocopied to make a pattern fit on a coinpurse for a swap.

I have done that a BUNCH of time with a variety of patterns. Only I used the copier at work....D'oh! It worked out fine for me.  If it works for you then go with it! There is no shame in using tried and true low tech techniques!

Ok here is my contribution Smiley  My mom's house is decorated in a southwestern design, so I stitched these kitchen towels up for her birthday.  I'm not super-happy with the colors, but oh well.

The Walmart in my area has them,  also if you have a MagicMart in your area they have them too.

Ok, I've ordered the following from colonial patterns: Horses & Cows, Horses & Deer, Hooty Owls, and Big Game Animals. Hahah! I'm so excited, the designs are really funny and kitchsy. Love it.

Well, I was just looking here... but that koala has convinced me I need to participate in the stitching.  Sooo cute!  Trouble is, I have never seen the koala one in Australia where I live  Roll Eyes  I'll keep looking tho, and in the meantime I think I'll use one of the ones I already have on a hanky.  It is gonna be hard to choose a design tho, as I haven't stitched any of them before.  Undecided

Hi, I love this stitchalong idea, and I love these patterns, too! I have ordered the gorgeous 'Hooty Owls' but live in South Africa, so it will take ages for the pattern to even reach me!! I can't wait to get started, though!!

Does anyone who lives outside the United States know if you can order from the Colonial Patterns website or if there is another site to order them from?  I tried to register but there was only the US option.  I'm in New Zealand, and the only store that I have found that stocks Aunt Martha has a really limited range....

Hi Bridgeywidgey, I ordered mine online from a fabric painting site, but of course I can't remember the name now, or find the records of my order! As soon as I find it, I'll let you know!
To the organiser of the stitchalong, are we allowed to cheat and use a Vogart pattern and post a picture? I have made an apron with a cute Vogart puppy!

Can you get to a Spotlight store BridgeyWidgey?  I live in Australia, but you guys have Spottys too right?  I know you are looking to purchase on-line, but it is worth a try if you can get them locally right?  My local Spotlight stores have Aunt Marthas in stock, but they have only had them in store for a short while.  The range is pretty good but they are hard to find in the store, you may need to ask for them.  Also, because they have not been in store long, the staff do not seem to have heard of them, or know what they are.  Um yeah, so even if you get there, it could still be a lot of fun getting your hands on the prize  Cheesy
