finally, the tutorial you've all been waiting patiently for is finished - i double- and triple-checked it to make sure there weren't any mistakes, but if you see something i missed or if you've got a question, just let me know - hope you have as much fun as i did with the pattern, and don't forget to post the finished result

Thank you so much, Miss Lissa!    Seeing it from that overhead view makes me think you could use the pattern to make a unique rag-type rug, too.  Thank again for remembering about this.

Thankyou so much for posting the instructions for the blanket!!  I have just printed it out, and have yarn ready to go!  What a great way to use up the baby colors in my yarn stash......and I can make it as big as I want!  Thankyou, thankyou.  I will post a pic when it is done.

I finished my circular ripple baby afghan a while ago, but just now got it posted to my website, so I had a place to steal the pic from to post it here! So here it is, being tested by my quality control cats.

stitchqueen, it turned out great!! - how big is it?? - and the kitties are adorable.......my cat likes to help me crochet (by sitting or chewing on the yarn) and test-run the finished product (by napping on it when i'm not looking)


lostcove, it only took me a few evenings to make the blanket.....i can't remember exactly how many, but it definitely was less than a week - it's amazing how much you can get done when you're blowing off schoolwork!!! - i used a variety of yarns from my scrap box, but mostly it was red heart yarn, with one strand each of worsted and sport (baby) weight held together

Thanks you guys, for the compliments.  I used two strands of red heart together to make the blanket.  I just used what I had on hand.  It measures 36" point to point.  It took me less than a week also, just worked on it when I had a chance (when the caps napped,....ha,ha).  They have to be in the middle of everything!
