I have always loved PeeWee's playhouse and would like to make this chair or the dog one. Any Ideas?

chairry!!!

for either chair, i would check out local thrift shops.  for chairy, look for a round topped chair, and for Dirty Dog (i think that's the dog chair's name) look for a square topped one.  and then find some thick, durable fabric (try the upholstery section, but you might be able to get away with some fleece and it might be cheaper and easier to find the right color) and use some craft felt for appliques for eyes, mouths, etc.
annamal reupholstered a couch a while back with some fabric and a staple gun, and it turned out awesome:

you might want to consider getting some batting also to put under your cover fabric of choice, because both chairs look very fluffy and you may not find chairs quite that thick.
