I get my pink and green at Micheals for about 3 $ a roll. I buy the regular colors at Wal Mart or Lowes.

Okay. I got mine at Wal-Mart also. Some people have said that they get it at Ace Hardware, so I'm going there soon. The endless possibilities of duct tape!

From what I've seen around here...our Ace's duct tape selection is small and expensive. I really recommend a craft store like Micheal's. Joanne's sells it too, but it's more expensive there and I generally avoid it unless I have a coupon. Good luck!

OMG.. a super joanne's??? i'm so jealous.

my sister wants a little shoulder purse like one i just made for my friend. there's nothing special about it. just a little fabric bag. if you can do duct tape, do that! just tell her that her gift might be a little late.  Undecided

good luck and let us know what you get her!

I think I'm going to make her a duct tape purse, but I'm desperate to find lime green duct tape! (Her favorite colors are black and lime green, so I want to make her those colors.) Anyone know where I can buy lime green duct tape??

heres a pic of memory glasses- unfortunately, these arent my own creations. these are ones given to me. by my..well...not so crafty friends.
the one on the left would have been really good if she realized that metal keychains in water rust. the bottles are very nice because if you put a cap on it you dont have to worry about leakage, but its better to use a snapple bottle or a clear bottle so... you can see the stuff inside. most of my other ones broke due to carelessness of the maker or just me being a spaz. they are a alot of fun to make, especially if you like melting things.

I wonder if you used something like mineral oil instead of the water if that would help the rust situation in the future.  Or does wax not float on top of mineral oil?  I can't remember.

haha thanks! the things you put inside should always fine unless they are metal or paper. its better to use little plastic toys. one time i filled one up all the way with barbie shoes and covered it with pink and purple wax. its so much fun!!
