I have been planning this for a long time, and I finally got it done! It might not be much, but I must say, I am very proud of it!

On to the picture!

I used a vintage frame that used to hold a Gobelin needlework... thingy... Horrible thing, really, nicely done, but not my cuppa tea. So - I salvaged the frame, got a piece of glass from the glass shop cut to the right size, and some plywood from the DIY store to nail on to the back.

The record I got on the Flea market. My Dad is a HUGE Eagles fan, so it was just perfect.

The matting is some kind of faux leather I got for free from a friend. I also googled a little info on the record and printed it on golden paper to make it a little more "real-looking".

The best part? The whole thing cost me a whopping 5 Euros (around 6.50 bucks)!!! I paid 4 Euros for the glass, 25 Cents for the record (!!!) and 75 Cents for the plywood.

I hope you guys like it as much as I do! I cant wait for my Dad to open it on Christmas!!!

That's awesome. It looks really nice, definitely like it cost more than what you spent!

WOW! I bet your dad will love it - what a clever idea! You'll have to post after Christmas and tell us how crazy he was about it. Nice job!
