the fabric you used in the stool is called "home ec".  its a retro redo supposed to conjure up the old home economics classes.  I only know this cuz Im a "family and consumer science teacher..." or, home ec.  Great job on the stool.

Wow how awesome is that, my kids each had a stool when they were little and they loved it, my daughter would drape fabric over hers and make a my little pony stable out of it, and my son loved to be in charge of turning off the lights at night, so he would take his little stool, light to light so he could reach the switch.
So what are you gonna make out of the monkey fabric?

I never thought much about what I'd do with the monkey fabric...right now I've got a 6 week old newborn to monkey around with!  Now I live my former crafty life vicariously through the great folks at Craftster...
