You know you're a craftster when...

yep, that's my study wall.  And those are paint sample cards.  I always bring them home when I go to Homebase (my friend who works there thinks I'm an utter freak ), and I ended up with a lovely mix of colours and thought... what can I do with those?  So here it is.  Do I win a prize?

(They keep bloody falling down, though.  I need to sellotape them up properly, I think)

When you go to meijers for toilet paper and cat food,
and end up with seventeen bags. 350$ of stuff from the new craft isle they just put up, drive ten miles home to hungry cats,and annoyed roomates.
 and then you just end up going to the gas station a block away for what you left for in the first place.

When you can't find any of your clothes that don't have paint clay or glue on them..

..... you have a fever, an infected throat, infected bronchial tubes and a bad cold that is turning into a flue and you are STILL crafting. Because well, you have to do something besides feeling miserable. Like crocheting a beautiful summer top, even though spring is late this year.

PS lowels has some new sand paint with sparkels in it .. very cool I'm painting my ceiling in my bed room with the dark blue..

YKYACW you begin painting at the house you're moving into, and think, "I can't wait until this is done so I can post it on Craftster!" (Because that was my precise thought last night as we slowly turned one of my walls a dark shade of salmon.)

It's good to know I'm not the only one who thinks it would be awesome to cover the walls in paint chips 

Incidentally, that's what one of my friends did at college. He took one of every color and made his own rainbow-y border around the top of the wall. When he ran out of color, he stuck his large collection of green-friendly, Bush-bashing, politically hilarious bumper stickers.

That's how I learned to crochet in the first place. I was frequently ill when I was a child, and my mother had to entertain me somehow so she thought me how to crochet.
It's the best in-bed-craft ever

...you're so used to the people on craftster referring to their husbands has their "dh" then when your dad is watching baseball and they call someone a DH you're slightly confused...

Well, not quite paintchips, but for a while I wanted to do a whole room in subway transfers . But the attendants would probably get pissed at me spending like 3 hrs at the transfer dispenser thing.
