YKYACW you're watching a film of a Shakespeare play (in this case, Othello, which is great, because half the cast would get it Grin) in English class and you're meant to be taking notes.
By the end of the film, your paper is covered in sketches of all the costumes. Tongue

I drove more than one history teacher to drink doing that.  It would have bothered them less if I hadn't been carrying A's on the tests routinely.

Flip side my Medieval Literature professor thought it was cool and was always pacing over to see what I was drawing.  Notes on one side sketches on the other.  Carried A's in his class too. And took him again for Anglo Saxon lit and sat in for Shakespear. The regular students *hated* me.  I would be reading along with them doing something else with my hands (small hand sewing usually) and I'd still debate language use (a smock is underwear not protective clothing in Shakespear.  Had a guy who was convinced that Juliet slept in a canvas painters cover all  Roll Eyes )

i don't know if it's a YkYACW moment, but I will bitch/comment about historically inaccurate costumes, costume peices, sometimes social behavior, and incontinuity (that's only cause i was a set costumer - come on people do your damn job!)  I HATE it when these little details are ignored! lol! I love the new P&P but in the ball - there are WAY too many bare shoulders and no gloves! You didn't dance with a man you JUST met with no gloves!..... i'll stop now lol

Hmm, I wondered that about P&P.  Actually, I noticed that in the ball scene all of the women except the Bennet sisters were wearing gloves.  Weird.

When in your dream DCF (Division of Children and Families) takes someone's kids away because they can't embroider a marshmellow.

When you find out Debbie Stoller is coming near you and you call all your friends immediatly, organize a road trip, and email work saying "I'm taking the 29th off.   Someone super cool and amazing is coming to Tampa!"
