...when you know you should be in bed...you even got as far as the bedroom...and you had to have that one last check to see what's going on in the wonderful world of craftster...as if someting might change while you sleep tonight!

I had a YKYACW moment again (they're becoming more frequent!):

I woke up at 3am with the solution to a crafting problem.  It was totally brilliant and I knew it would work!  I sat up and worked it all out in my head, went back to sleep and at 6:30am couldn't remember the crucial step to it.  I'm so bummed!  Maybe I should keep a notebook with my reading light on the nightstand.

The solution came, I'm sure, because I was dreaming of doing crafts.

YKYACW- you DO keep a notebook by the bed, just for moments like that.

...when you never have those moments...or at least not at 3am, because you're still up crafting then! Wink (Or posting on craftster!)

I keep a notebook (two actually) on my night stand one I can rip the pages out of (great for lists)and one where things stay put for long term ideas!  I also keep very small spiral bound note pads in my purse and work tote (one in each) for writing ideas down. The note pads are also very handy for price comparison and for writing down the exact name, brand, color, shade, location...etc of what ever cool thing I find while out and about and don't/can't buy for whatever reason right at that moment.  This way I can find it again or go home and do research on it to see if I can get a better price on-line.

Along those lines....You know you're a craftser when you develop a pattern for cool spiral notebook covers so all of your many and varied notebooks can look hip and happenin!  Haven't made one yet though.

I hate when that happens! You think of something so awesome but when you wake up you forget half of it!  Tongue
