I lost my sewing scissors a while ago, and it turned out they were in the kitchen, where people had been cutting bacon rinds with them.

Ugh.

*shudders* the horror!!

I just treated myself for my birthday to a pair of these

(I had a brief moment of 'what am I thinking? 5000Y scissors!' - though searching for a picture I just found I got them for 1000Y less than RRP) and had to patiently explain to bf that if he ever dared use them to cut paper or anything else non-fabric then the next thing they'd be cutting would be his fingers (or other body parts).

Actually YKYACW you spend 20 minutes searching for a picture of your new fabric shears so you can post it on craftster!

YKYACW Your 17 boy explains the difference between fabric scissors, paper scissors and utility scissors to his new Stepfather along with the dire consequences of using fabric scissors for anything other then fabric.

You must be so proud. If only I could instil the same training into the males of this household
He caught his stepfather getting ready to cut zipties with my fabric scissors one day. As he told me I really like him and don't want you to kill him over the scissors lol.

I let my brother borrow my fabric scissors the other day...he had a sail spread out on the front yard and was cutting it so it'll fit in his room.  He cut the grass with them just to irritate me.  Fortunately I dont think a few baldes of grass would damage my scissors too much  Cheesy  Silly brothers.

YKYACW....
Your dad never bought you your graduation robes because he thought you were going to make them. Now you wish you would've made them instead of trying to borrow some the last minute.
