YKYACW: you're arguing with your father about when you're going to back to college, and you inform him that you've decided to be an Interior Designer instead of a teacher because "designers get to play with fabric!"

you could be an interior design teacher.  theres a class at my highschool, and they have faric pieces EVERYWHERE in that room. ive been tempeted ot smuggle them out.

so this is more of a craftster sighting than an YKYACW, so i was walking to class today and i saw and there was a girl wearing a necktie skirt, (or at least i think she was, my eyes aren't the greatest). Well i got a little excited and did the best to display my "Don't Date Craftsterbate" tote.
maybe I'm a nerd, but the thought of another craftster in this big school made me happy!

Haha!  I guess this could be both, because my fiance is convinced I am a nerd because of craftster.  I say display your tote proudly!  And if we are nerds, at least we will be nerds with kick-a** clothes and accessories!

YKYACW.... You secretly hope that your obstetrician will put you on bed rest for a month or so so you can finally finish the millions of WIPs taking over your room.. Ah to have the time to crochet..  What can I say a little bedrest would do me good, lol.

when you agree to make your friends and your own ball dress for the ball *may 7th* and have a complete underwear set to make for your textiles aswell - oh not forgetting the tonne of other coursework you have to do, and your currently sat on craftster x x

YKYACW you have difficulties not packing at least five different hobbies to work on for an overnight trip.
...and when you get to your destination you're regretting not taking the ones you convinced yourself to leave behind.

...you realize you and your sister remember that day-after-Thanksgiving when you sat in her living room and talked and cross-stitched and swapped patterns all day without ever getting out of your PJ's as one of the best days of your life.
...you always have a small cross-stitch kit in your purse "just in case."
...you immediately toss your cross-stitch project onto the chair across the room as soon as you feel the needle enter your finger, so as not to get blood on your project, and only then think about getting a Band-Aid.
...every time you wear a necklace to work, someone says "you made that, didn't you?"
...you're so excited about the 25 vintage neckties you'll soon receive from an E-bay seller that you can't wait, so you go to Goodwill and score six great ties 50% off to make a necktie purse.  And carry the completed purse to work the next day!
...your daughter says "you've got that 'got to get the sewing machine out NOW!' look in your eye, Mom!"

YKYACW  you get an invitation to a wedding shower that says the bride loves unique socks, and you immediately start thinking about things like sock yarn, and patterned stitching, even though you've never made a sock in your life and just learned how to knit a few months ago. *but hey, I got a DPN kit in the DIY swap, so I should be good, right?*
