YKYACW . . . you've introduced 2 best friends to craftster and started them knitting/crafting just for the sole purpose of having someone to talk about it to.

Hmm ...*glances at a_a* ... That rather seems to be a common occurrence.   Cry

You didn't want to share the glory of Craftster with me!  You just wanted someone to talk to about it who wouldn't look at you like you'd gone nutty.  Cheesy

So many things fail to interest us, simply because they don't find in us enough surfaces on which to live, and what we have to do then is to increase the number of planes in our mind, so that a much larger number of themes can find a place in it at the same time.

YKYACW you look at that little picture and decide to print it out and give it to your mom so she can help you make pants with it out of that pretty pant fabric that's lying around waiting for a pattern or initiative or something

Rather than study for midterms, you've been knitting to aleviate your panic.

YKYACW your POed your local Walmart is getting rid of their fabric selection (even thought Joanns is right next door) but elated because you can catch clearance sales!!  Undecided

don't get me started on wal-mart...

YKYACW your small town gets a wal-mart, which is going to ruin every local business and wal-mart is terrible, bla bla bla, etc... but you think "as terrible as wal-mart is, at least i'll have a place to get fabric".

it opened yesterday.

and half an aisle of yarn. scratchy acrylic. Sad
that's like... a nightmare!

ahh that sucks about the wal marts!  My wal mart has fabric and i'm glad they do! Otherwise i'd have no where to shop unless i want to drive like 30 miles!

YKYACW... you walk into your LYS and the owner recognizes your shopping partner as your sister, not because she looks absurdly like you, but because she's wearing Gator Mitts, and you bought the yarn at that store
