I have a problem with my christmas projects I need to start. My mom goes to a adult day care center and is there about  6-7 hours then she comes home.My dh goes to work about 11Am & gets off 12 hours later.Either one of them is home at any given hour. The problem is I have christmas presents I want to make them but how when one or both is home. Cry.I need to get started but I dont' have any privacy here.If I go into my bedroom here come one or both or them to see what I'm doing  Angry.Any ideas I can't do it while they are sleeping cause I have to have sleep too.

Idea #1: Craft for your mom when she's out and dh is home.  Craft for your dh when dh is out and mom is home.  Swear each of them to secrecy about the other's gifts.

Idea #2: If your crafts are portable, take them to a coffee shop, get a cup of coffee or whatever, and craft there.

Idea #3: Just tell them both to respect your privacy.  Heck, tell them that if they don't respect your privacy, they won't get ANY gifts! Tongue

I have used this exact tactic a number of times, it works : )

I also was part of a sewing circle for a while once. The only project I completed was a very large tee shirt quilt for my hubby that lived either at her house or in my trunk untill it was done. Hubby asked what I was sewing & I told a half truth that I spent the whole time teaching & didn't get my own stuff done. Which was true about 1/3 of the time.
