Anyone have any suggestions on making button holes? I'm sewing by hand and would like to put functional buttons for teeny pockets...but I'm needle felting and there is not a real
definite edge to work with....Please and Thank you~ Roll Eyes

Are you needle felting a figure or something more fabric like? And what type of roving, batt, yarn are you using?

In general, if you place a resist under the button hole, it ought to be possible to needle a firmer  edge to a button hole opening - which may then be reinforced by needling in some thin yarn, or sewing round it with a buttonhole stitch.
