i've seen similar versions of these purses on here, but i did a few different things with each.

for this purse, i cut the legs off the jeans, then cut the top part in half.  sew up the leg hole and the side, then take the button off the jeans and sew it on the front. cut the strip of the waist band with the button hole and sew it on the inside of the purse on the opposite side from the button.  i used several bandanas as the strap and "belt". 
the side i use as the front...

the "back"

the entire purse..i made the strap long so it can be worn in a sort of messenger bag style...it's great for school!



another purse i made several years ago. i often tie a piece of fabric through the belt loops as a sort of belt.  it's almost like a new purse every time you change it up!


this one is simpler than the first because all you do is cut the legs off the jeans, sew the holes up, then make a strap out of the legs.
