Today I finished my version of Anthropologie's cloche hat as seen in the Fall '05 catalog.
I used buttons from my gran's button tin and other odds and ends.

The colors are much more muted and vintage-y looking in person. When I showed the picture in the catalog to my mom, she said "I hope you are going to make better flowers than theirs!"
Here is the pattern:

FINISHING:
I left the ends long on all of the flowers so I could tie them onto the cloche before sewing them down permanently. Try your cloche on before you sew them down and make sure you like the position, it looks different when it's on because it stretches.
I sewed the beads, sequins, and the brown flower buttons on before I attached them to the cloche. For the beige and green flowers, I sewed the button down through the centers to the cloche.
Add any other buttons or embellishments and enjoy! I hope you love it and I especially hope I didn’t make any weird mistakes when trying to write the pattern out.
