First one:

This was my second sewing project ever (first was a pillowcase).  I followed this tutorial http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=45911.0

Started with this shirt

and made this shirt

Second one:

I followed this tutorial  http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=10790.0

and made this shirt (please excuse the green boxers, I was too lazy to change them)

Now a couple of questions:
1) the middle part of the second shirt is super stretchy material.  I still have a ton of it left, if I make something else with it will I ever be able to sew a hem into it?  It is probably going to bunch isn't it?  Is there a trick or something else I can do to it?

2) Does anyone know of a tutorial to make a shirt like this?

I know my sketch is crappy, but I want it the neck line to bunch and hang like that.  If I can figure out how to hem this stretchy material I think it will make a nice shirt.

Thank you for all of the great ideas Smiley

Very cute boob tube tops!! Grin

Hope this pic of my cowl neck top helps. The dark blue parts on the drawing are suppoused be "the inside". I made it btw and added sequins to the side Cheesy But the material is bad and doesn't let the skin breathe at all.

Sorry for the crappy pics. My camera is on vacation in Greece and these are some old digital video cam pics.

And I can't believe I couldn't find a cowl neck tutorial here. C'mon, it's craftster!! I learned to do that top from a tutorial I saw in t shirt surgery @ LJ over a year ago.

nice! I really like the stripey top - is that velour or is it more satiny? It's hard to tell in the photo...

I like the brown one best.
I made a shirt exactly like crazy pinky did, except I just pulled the straps to my collerbone and sewwed on ribbon threaded the ribbon through the back a few times kinda like a corset.
