I wanted to get back into Lino printmaking and figured Halloween cards would be a fun first project after many years.
Here are the first two prints and I'm working on a third block now.

Comments and crits appreciated.

Beautifully done!  I am looking forward to seeing the rest of the series.  You should sell these.  The images would make great t-shirts too.  I'd buy one.  hint-hint

Those are fabulous. I love lino! I really like the way you've left top and bottom of the crow print a bit raw and haven't carved it all away. Is the lettering part of the lino cut? That would be tricky. The moon is great too. I want to print a moon for a project I was working on and I had been thinking about screenprinting it, though I'm into lino at the moment... you may have changed my mind. Anyway- nice work! Smiley

great prints

I don't know that you need the poem for the first one...I think it stands alone better, but then I prefer blank cards

At first I wasn't sure what to do with the sky so I cut those vertical lines, then I cross-hatched them (not show) and finally just cut them out. I may redo this one because I think it has potential but I'm just not getting on this try.
