Hi guys,
I really really need your help. For those of you who are interested in doing Barbie Modification, and have a Barbie to spare, along with a little extra time - the Barbie swap that I organized FOREVER ago still has a flaker. And I desperately need someone to help!!! I'm moving in 2 weeks, otherwise I'd do it myself.  Can anyone help??

Here's the post for the angel:

I really want to do this!!! But I think we should just make Barbies into whatever we want... I wouldn't look that great as a Barbie.

Whoa. I just finished remodeling a Barbie for a guy at work. He saw a Madame Alexander Tippi Hedren (from the movie The Birds) doll in a magazine, and I told him I would make him one. I used a doll from the Dollar Tree, but I'll use a real Barbie next time, mainly because she only had 2 rows of hair on her head.  Anyway...it was SO MUCH FUN to do this project, and I think it would be a great craft challenge!

As I said at first, I think this would be such a fun challenge.  I really hope Leah hears our pleas.  And pleases.  *bats eyelashes and pouts*

This would bring me back,  I was the girl who made herself a break dancing and skateboarding barbie at age 10.  My mom would get so mad with the haircuts I'd give them  Cool

You know, i was thinking....  It wouldn't have to be just Barbies, either.  I know the title of this thread is Barbie / fashion doll...  But I think it would be fun to see what everyone can do with lots of different dolls.  I know the Barbie Modification Swap specified Barbie dolls, to be sure that everyone who swapped got a genuine barbie or friend, but since these aren't being swapped it would be OK to open it up a bit, right?  I mean, sure, that means that you could use a fashion doll from the dollar store (although I don't know why you'd want to, since they're mostly ugly as sin and you can pick up a Barbie at a thrift store for the same price) if you thought a Barbie would be too expensive.  But it also means you could do a Ken, a GI Joe, a My Little Pony...  Partly that's because I've been rolling around ideas for a custom MLP, but I will do a Barbie and a Pony probably anyway, even if this theme doesn't get chosen.  Still, I think it would be fun to see what people come up with.
