i just found this awesome place!  i love all of the things i've seen here!  very talented people!  here are a couple of coin purses i made.  they're about 5 inches wide and 2.5 inches deep.  i know the pictures aren't the greatest but i was sort of rushing so that i could post them as soon as i joined.  the "k" one was my very first attempt and it didn't turn out as good as i hoped.  but i was more impressed with the second try which was the "d" one.  i actually gave the "d" one to my friend for easter.  she seemed to enjoy it!  lol.  anyways .. thanks for taking a peek.  i hope to have more to post sometime soon!

thank you both for the welcome and the compliments!  the pink material is cotton (broadcloth) from a fabric store.   the letters are made from adhesive patching material (you can buy in a variety of colors.  i got mine at walmart).  you can draw the letters directly onto the adhesive patch and cut them out into whatever shape desired!

thanks everyone.  i really appreciate you're feedback and i'm glad you like them!  Cheesy

i saw so many of those intial coinpurses around but could never find a pink "K" one so i decided to make myself one.  they were the first two i made and i hope to make some new designs soon.  right now i'm actually making an attempt  at a "jordy" bag so if all turns out well .. i'll have that one posted soon.

Those look very nice.  I have made those before but they're a pain because you have to get a good letter shape, cut it out and then sew over it for a finished edge! ahh! I'd almost rather just buy one. But you did a great job!
