I entered a craft fair for mid October and I'd like to do one for early December.  My question to the pros is do you have any tips on staying organized, focused, sane?  I have a list of the supplies I'll need, the stuff I'm making and the amount I'll need.  I'm still feeling a bit suffocated.

My big tip would be to make sure you are all set, ready to go, at least by the night before.  The list is actually my number 1, must-have craft fair prep item.  Then I work from it and make sure I have all the stuff I need, and I have all the "to do" stuff checked off.  It makes it a lot easier, if, in the morning, I just load everything into the car and go.  It also helps to have a good friend help out.  My fiance is my stuff carrier, car driver, set up expert.  He keeps me sane when I get flustered, which I almost always do when setting my table up.  But that flustering would be far worse if things weren't priced, money hadn't been changed, etc. etc.

Good luck!
Jen

I also prepared a check list on the computer and it is the first thing I pull out!

Must haves -
Business Cards or Flyers
Pens, Pencils, notepaper, scissors, screwdriver set, string, pull ties, screws, safety pins
Measuring tape
spare lightbulbs, power cords

Don't forget - aspirin/tylenol, female hygene products (hey you never know!) & breath mints. I am often asked by other vendors for contact info re: organizers for other shows that I do so I pack that as well.

I'm doing my first craft fair in november and I just thought I'd say make sure to check to see what will be provided and what you'll have to bring (tables and chairs etc)

Make sure you have plenty of change.  Nothing beats loosing a sale because you can't  break a large bill.  Calculator, tape gun, bags, receipts, asprin, proper tools that you will need for setup, packing material.  I usually pack up a show box of all of the things that I need, and after the show I leave everything in there, so it is ready for the next show.
