I crocheted this choker with 24 gague copper wire and glass faceted beads.
I call it falling leaves because I wanted something autumnal.  I just can't wait for the cooler weather, and I love fall!  This really puts me in an autumn state of mind when I wear it.

I was inspired by a pattern like it in Melissa Leapman's Cool Crochet book.

I never thought of crocheting wire for some reason. What a great idea. And I love your choker!

That is gorgeous! I love fall!!!!!
You should crochet some earrings to match too : )
Is that just like a crochet chain?
The colors are so pretty together - copper was definitely the right choice.

That is so gorgeous!  It really does look like autumn leaves.  Wink  It would look awesome with a simple black dress in the fall.

Thank you guys!  I'm glad you like it.
The beads are strung on the wire before you start crocheting and then they're added to the work as you go.
I've been so into fall colors lately.  I think it's because I just can't wait for the cooler weather.  It would be nice to get below 100 degrees, lol.

That's so beautiful!
When I read your title, I actually thought you'd crocheted a choker out of leaves.
Man, that would be hard.
