I've embroidered little things here and there but only for practice, so this is my first real thing. But I'm happy w/ the way it turned out. And I think I'm now addicted to embroidery.

Sorry for the picture quality. I had already given it away before I realized what a crappy picture I took.
The doves are from the wedding invitations. I scanned the picture, reversed the image, then printed it and traced w/ a transfer pen. The letters are from one of the sublime stitching kits.
Lavendar is one of her wedding colors so I did the birds in light lavender and the letters in darker lavender.
By the way, I had a hell of a time trying to find blank lace handkerchiefs, but ordered from
www.embroiderthis.c om a week before the shower and the shipping only took 3 days! I highly recommend them!
