:-) Thanks! Yeah, it's crochetting in the round on a REALLY big hook. The circumference was just over an inch!

First, I made the Starburst wrappers into sheets using packing tape, then, I taped each sheet into a tube and cut around them like I was making t-shirt yarn. Then, I taped the ends of each "strand" together and started crochetting. I used double crochet for the entire hat. The big hook absolutely killed my fingers.

This just reminded me of a project I thought of a long time ago with smartees wrappers.  I usually end up making little origami figures out of the wrappers a la Bladerunner.
