I agree.  I got a couple of paper samples and then felt really guilty for doing it.

i think that if you plan on buying some later its ok    ..... and I was sad that the free yarn offer expired.

I post, I ordered and I hoard.. then I felt guilty.. 

However, I must say, I haven't ordered any free samples in about a year. I actually went through withdrawl!

Thanks for the slap on the wrist... I know the shoe leather thing was a bit much... but I've made great gifts. I tried to purchase at 1st time as a crafter but she sent me 4 boxes free!  It was hard not to go back. I got a little excited. Sorry.. I will do better. I promise!

my goodness, people can be sick...i mean do they want all craft goods businesses to go under or what? if you have to lie to get what you want, then maybe you should consider finding another way to get it, such as getting another job or starting your own business for extra money. then of course, you may just see what it feels like to be mooched off of when YOU offer samples to prospective customers who are actually dishonest crafters.

Oh please - get off the high horse.   I am sure you never took a paperclip or made personal copies at work.    Lets get real now. How about that brach's candy in the supermarket.... Had one too many grapes recently.. just to "test" them?

The greater good is now people are convicted to not do it anymore. I applaud anyone who's been there, done that, grew up from it and moved on.  Like I said, again, thanks Leah for putting it out there. That took courage as well.
